265 repower questions

2002 265 express. Just bought a pair of 2011 225 Optimaxes. Which hole do I hang the motors on, second or third from the bottom? How about the pitch of the props? Has anyone done this repower. HELP!!!! :hmm

I have only seen a handful of Grady's with black motors so that may be why you did not get a response.

grady hangs yamahas on the bottom hole...call grady they are always very helpful

Did you hang the engines yet? I can check my Chase this weekend when I pull the boat for the winter. I am not sure it will be the same but I can tell you which holes the dealer used. What length shafts are they? Mine are 25". That would be something to consider. I can also give you the size of my props if that helps. I know they are four blade stainless. I think they are Sport Series: Vensura 17P but would have to confirm.
