As I had posted before, the lowering was very important. Even now, I still have to be very careful and plan my routes. When I come up to some overhanging branches. I have to come nearly to a stop and crawl through so I don't damage the radome. I cover it with a canvas outboard cover to protect from scratches and that works very well.
The Grady Hardtop actually curves downward on forward and sides so if you flush mount, keep in mind the angle you want to get. I did not go to full forward position as it would have too much angle. A few inches back put it just right so that when you are on the water, it is nearly level but with a very slight degree forward to consider running attitude.
The LED's are absolutely great. I did get the Attwood's mentioned for Red/Green nav and never worry on draining battery. I also switched out the deck flood lights with LED which replaced the halogens that pulled some serious juice!
The anchor light was hard to find as I wanted the fold down model and specific length. It was necessary to fold it down so it did not get broken off on the branches.
Post some pics. Sounds like a nice rig!
