Hi all, has anyone experienced this? (See pics)
If so, what was your fix and are you happy with it now?

That is more than just a rotted shelf. There are indication of water intrusion on the cabin door bulkhead. That water has leaked onto the shelf and it seems, down into the microwave compartment. What surprises me is that there does not appear to be rust stains around those two bolts on the left

Could very well be the case. Regardless, the cabin bulkhead seems to be rotted and should be looked at

On my 207 282, the shelf immediately below the window is dry and so is that same shelf shown in your picture. I'm more predisposed to think it is a window leak. If you've led a good life, maybe just the window shelves are rotted. There are some stainless brackets that support the decorative box that surrounds the window. If those brackets and or bolts are rusted, that might be further evidence of a window leak.

Just replaced mine last month. The window was leaking and the wood was like paper. I found the window lock has to be turned as far as it know can go. We were just closing until the latch engaged, it goes a full quarter turn more to lock it water tight. To repair the shelf I just used pressure treated plywood. Just remove the staples from the back of the shelf and make a cardboard template for the cut and re- staple with SS staples. good as new. The shelf has a top layer of off white laminate that can just be re-glues and the bottom is covered by the vinyl wrap. I was considering replacing with starboard but decided on quick fix with the plywood.
