I'm no expert but I regularly ride on a Canyon 271 that has twin 300s. That's a smaller, lighter boat than a Marlin. I have to wonder if a Marlin with 250s is under powered. Any Marlin people want to chime in?
I know a few folks who have twin 225s/250s on their Marlins and they have no complaints ( except for the exhaust corrosion problem

I have looked at a 282 with 250s and I like that power. Everything I have read here owners say the 300 is a much larger boat, and they love them over the 282. I believe my family would be happy with either boat. We just sold our 21 regulator. So we are looking. Thanks for the replies.
