I have a 282 sailfish year model 2004. I recently removed the wind shield wiper arms to try and remove some surface rust. In doing so I stripped out the busing insert that goes over the motor shaft. The bushing insert measures 9/16" outside dimension, and the shaft size is 1/4". Im having a hard time getting any Grady dealers to help me out, and Im being told that they changed the busing insert after the 2004 models. Can anyone give me any advise? I would like to replace the arms and blades but cant do this without finding the busing inserts first.

I had to replace them on my '98 due to age & cracking.
I found them loose in a box of wiper parts at Marine Connection Liquidators in Ft. Pierce, FL. (772) 465-6460.
Call them & get their email address & email them a pic. There are a number of different sizes so going a little bigger or smaller isn't a problem as you can tighten them down enough to make a good seal.

Thanks for the reply, but Im not too sure we are talking about the same thing. The busing I am looking for is metal and fits over the motor shaft and connects the wiper to the motor. I have provided a link that has some picture to refrence. Hopefully it will help explian my problem a little better. Any advide is appreciated.
