How to remove fresh water take in a 307

I don't have your boat, but have done my fair share of removal of things from plenty of boats (like a bunch of other people here, as well). First question... why? If you just don't want it anymore, just run it dry and leave it - it's not that heavy. Second question... what's in the way? Post some pictures of things in the way and your access to it.
