I went from the Marlin to the 33 Express and have never regretted it. The boat handles great, has extra room in all the right places and I really like the center oriented cockpit. With the exception of the addition beam there is not much additional space in the rear deck. They have put the additional 3 ft in the cabin and it really makes a difference. You will love it.

Not sure if I am my situation will be helpful - went from a 208 to a 330. Obviously there is no comparision between the boats.

We sea trialed a 305, but the decion to go with the 330 was easy. There is much more room on the 330 & it rides noticable better.

I went from a Hydra-Sport 28 to the 33 Express. I wish I had done it sooner. The boat is great. I use it all around Cape Cod. Excellent ride in sloppy weather. The cabin is comfortable and the aft cabin is roomy. I like the center helm, although you will see that some find it takes away from walking around comfort. I have the F250's and find they have more than enough power for this boat. Good luck and either boat will be a good choice.

I saw the 2008 33 Express and really liked it. The biggest issue for me was cabin space and access. I'm getting really tired of having no real access to my bilge. You can really do nothing through the access ports and can't see a darn thing. When the dealer lifted up the rear hatch and showed me the diesel genny in it's own water proof box and the well laid out pumps and thru hull valves my heart went flip flop. Finally, a boat where you don't need a tube of silicon to service anything. Also the new Express has a wider spacing between the engines, that plus the bow thruster should make it handle like a dream. The only thing you can't do is walk around which i love for certain types of fishing.
