Thanks guys this should solve my battery draining problem while offshore......i'll just flip the charger on when needed and flip it off before I start my engines.
 
I just upgraded from a 20A Charger to a 40A. Don't know how it came from the factory (2001 Marlin), but we now have it set up with an individual starting battery per engine and two batts set up and isolated as the house. All three banks have their own switch.
