Hello, I am new to this site and I am looking for some help if possible. I have a 2004 express 330 and i love the boat except for the fact it is difficult to see out at night. I am kicking around the idea of changing the windshield to open to make it easier to see at night. Does anyone else have this problem or can steer me in the direction of someone who can help with changing the configuration of the windshield ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Robert

Had a 2007 330 and did not have that problem at all and did a lot of night fishing. My thoughts are maybe your electronics are too bright, lower the light or change them in to a night mode if they have that option.

I'm with NEM...I had a 2003 and had no problems at all. What is the specific problem? Are you getting condensation? is it glare (Do what NEM said). Remember, light is your enemy at night. Bright lights of any kind ruin your night vision. If you look at a bright light for even a few seconds your night vision is affected for 20-40 minutes. Keep your spotlight (If you have one) off unless you really need it. A custom windshield will be VERY expensive and may not provide any relief.

Guys thanks for the replies, I do put my electronics on night but it still seems bright and when i look out around the windshield i see fine. I do not want to jump into a expensive project if i do not need to.

I had a hard time with this too. Not on my Grady but with new electronics. I finally figured out the dimmer they were the better vision I had. Your eyes will adjust to the dim back light on your electronics in a few minutes. It drove me crazy. It was after I had switched from mono chrome to color that I had a problem. Now I keep everything very low lit. I don't even like using my red overhead light unless needed. I do use the cockpit lights occasionally which are facing aft and behind me. They don't disturb me at all. I also run with them on at night. I know they are working but am never sure of the 360 light on the hardtop. It's not visible from the helm. I figure a little extra white light can't hurt. You can only see them from behind. There's many cocktail cruisers  out by me at night. Especially weekends in the summer.
