Colt Ford Concert in the Harbor. Trump flags as far as the eye could see! Great dinners out down town. Just an awesome weekend. 252 miles round trip. 202 gal of fuel. We averaged 28,8 mph. The ocean was beautiful up and back! 379ECA78-D336-41DF-B71C-51D677E1C41C.jpegB36053CF-959D-4BEF-BE1C-4559E02F719F.jpegB208BD42-672C-4C52-84D7-5526751797F0.jpeg03C5991A-DFD5-47D2-A4C9-FC037EA6D3A5.jpeg

Great area for boating. Looks like lots of great fun. Haven’t been up that way since college. Went to Citadel 88-92. I was their cadet boat mechanic at their boat center. They rented 13 boats to the cadets every day. I was the man to keep them running. I would always grab a boat for the weekend and run to Ft. Sumter, mount pleasant, or run the cooper river. Those were great times.

The engine covers are on the outboards, are they not?

I'm curious why you would run with them on?

Looks like the Atlantic was in a decent mood for your trip. Doesn't look like anything over 2 footers in your shots looking aft.

I love Charleston.

South Carolina is my happy place for sure. I catfish on freshwater lake up by Moncks Corner, saltwater bottom fishing on the artificial reefs offshore of Charleston. Watched the fireworks anchored up in the harbor by Patriots Point many times.

The Trump boat parades around the country have been phenomenal! The Guinness Record was broken 2 weeks ago with 3500 boats for Trumps Birthday.
That’s awesome. I’ve been working in lake Keowee and lake jacossee in Seneca, sc this past week. They had a great parade last weekend also. Glad to see the flags everywhere.

The covers are completely vented matching the cowl vents. No reason to remove them. SC sun will take its toll on the black ones. I wish the previous owner had opted for white.

Looks like a lot of fun. We got a heck of a show at fish camp with 33,000 shots even though our dipstick governor shut down all the shows in our state. Didn't do well fishing but a fun trip none the less.

Charleston.. my old Navy stomping ground. Man, I miss those ships on the skyline...felt more at home there than anywhere in the world.

Charleston is a great little city. My son went to the Citadel there. He's a Navy EOD now.

Sorry, off topic, heh.. I left Charleston only because I was accepted at The University of Texas.. or so I thought, they had sent the letter as a mistake. I would have gone to USC instead, where I was also accepted. I loved living there. I think it was the comfort of having all those Navy ships in sight... lol.. Anyway, lots of good times for sure.

Okay, back to the topic... I will go drool over your boat pictures.. lol.. ok, not really.. the monitor and keyboard would short out, but you get the idea ;)
