added led under the gunwells

I always use amber lights when doing mine. They are easy on the eyes at night.
Here is a pic of my 228:
The lights on the left are LED, and are more "yellow" than the regular lights on the right, which I definitely like more. Enough light to walk around with, and even tie knots with, if you sit right in front of one, but not enough to ruin your night vision. Very helpful for night fishing.
But unlike yours, I have to have white lights also.

what brand did you use what colors are they in? did you just splice into the existing under gunwale lights?

I picked up the a kit at Gilman electric comes with 5, 2 foot strips, a ac to dc transformer, just cut the ac part off . Used silicon calk to attach it to the under side of the gunwells and attached them to the old wires, They are all colors from red to white, came with a remote that will do one color or multi changing setting. something like this,

used the calk to waterproof everything,
