I have a 1992 Seafarer 22 that doesn't have a wash down tank. Do they make tanks I could add. There is a large empty space under the floor in front of my gas tank. I was thinking of adding one there.

Just get the measures of the void and maximum size to install without cutting anything and then look around for PE water tanks, there are many in many sizes on the market, much more than gas tanks.
Then you need to find a position for the filler cap, plumbing is usually a simple task.

Sure, absolutely. If you're comfortable with basic plumbing and electrical it's a very straight forward job.

Todd is a big supplier of tanks - as noted above, easy to find.

But... how often would you use it? Do you have easy access to fill it? You'll want to use it up regularly and refill to avoid it getting nasty.

Would a raw water wash down work better?

I have a 2006. There is a 10gal fresh water tank under the passenger’s seat. The space in front of the main tank is for the 56 gal auxiliary fuel tank. If you are looking for a tank for fresh water here are the dimensions for the auxiliary fuel tank. You will want to take an inch of the width as the tank is slightly larger than the opening.56 Gallon Fuel Tank.jpg
