Aft Deck Lighting

When not fishing we use the 330 for overnighting. Anyone use some sort of portable battery or solar operated light while relaxing on deck? Bright enough to see and relax but not too bright as to piss off other boaters. Spreader lights too bright and not working now anyway. Probably a fuse, I hope..

My dock neighbor has those cheap solar landscaping lights with the spikes that you see at home depot and puts them in the hardttop rocket launcher rod holders. they are not very bright but enough to light up the cockpit.

I installed strips of those blue LED lights under the gunwale on my offshore. They use very little juice....are indirect and were very inexpensive. Very easy to install also. 20lf cost about $30.
I tied them into my compass light switch.....both are very low draw. I have had them lit at the dock for hours a few times with no issues.
