GT, I grew up in West Hempstead and lived in NC, IL,OH, VA and GA since. Moved to Vero Beach, FL from Atlanta two years ago and (except for insurance and prop taxes) it's absolutely the best place to live. In the morning I have to decide between fishing from the beach, a jetty, a bridge, in the Indian River in the small boat or offshore in the lerger boat...or play golf. Next week I drive the boat to the Keys for a few weeks of play.
I loved living on LI, but FL is it.
