Helloo all !

Im am curious as to the different products anyone may know about
for cleaning/restoring the aluminum piping on the hard tops.

I have tried blue coral's blue magic, and it really didnt make any improvements. I think I need something with a little more muscle.

The tubes are'nt all coroded up, but they are not real shiny either.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks,

Tony L. :D

I use Woddy Wax on mine. It does pretty well but doesn't restore a like new finish.

You definitely don't want to use any sort of abrasive on it because that will remove the anodizing that protects the AL. Then it will really start to look like sh*t.

The best way to keep AL pipework looking new is to treat it multiple times each year with some sort of wax...starting when it's new.

I've used Flitz for years and my the pipework and metal on my both my boats looks great. The other above mentioned products are also very good to use.

Try the MAAS paste using a foam applicator ball in an electric drill.
Use the polishing cream, here's the link:

I've used this for years and its the absolute best. It has a jewelers rouge compound and it will clean up anything.
