Anchor slap while underway - 2014 209 Fisherman

I picked up this boat used last year. I’m pretty sure I’m missing an anchor bracket or clip in the bow storage area.

When underway, the anchor sits in a holding bracket, but swings and knocks against the interior of the bow. To solve this I cut up one of the kids’ pool noodles and wedged it in there just for a quick fix.

If you have a Fisherman - would you mind sharing a picture of your anchor bracket? I have a feeling I’m missing a lower piece - and would like to get it ordered up.

I have a 2015 209 no lower bracket lower end rests on lower anchor line never a problem

If you have enough chain on your anchor it won't swing. The chain won't move if it's sitting on top of the anchor rode.
