It is sad to learn that another Grady dealer is closing. Nautica Marine in Georgetown, SC opened in 1967 and became a Grady dealer shortly thereafter. The owner, Kay Croker, passed away last fall and the family wants to consolidate their business in their Wilmington and Moorehead City, NC stores. Nautica Marine was a great place to do business with lots of knowledgeable and helpful folks. They will be missed.

It is very sad to hear. You mention it as "another dealer closing". What other GW stores have fallen victim to the recession?

The only other one that I know is out of business is Play Two. They closed up earlier this year.
Jack's Interbay Marine in Tampa and Irwin Marine in Red Bank NJ are no longer GW dealers, but I believe both are still in business.

I hate to heae that. Teresa and Cameron have been very helpful over the years. These are tough times.
Irwin Marine - Red Bank NJ is in business, but lost their GW line not from the recession, but a few years back becasue of another GW dealership kept their franchise and prevented Irwin from having thier dealership so close to each other.
