Oh that wasn’t so bad . ;)

I'm with Mr Bloodweiser on this one (such a great handle, fish and beer, brilliant).

I think if we ignore the haters and don't give them attention, instead have the conversations as if they were not there, we keep this site civil.
I also think if we treat people the way that we want them to behave, instead of reacting, we'll get better results.

This site is so much better than THT, I'll tolerate the random jab at me and turn the other cheek because 99% of you folks are awesome. I really love this site, it has helped me through owning a 228 when I had no idea how to drive that boat, still don't, a little better, that is all you guys.

Most of the time this site is made up of a adults who just want to help each other. More of that.

I totally agree lucky, I do my best to help whenever I can.

Yes you do and I notice. There are people here who are always helpful and you are one of them. If I don't give you enough credit, my bad. Doubly so if your username is about a WRX, I have one of those, it replaced a porsche. Love my WRX.

I don't know how to say this properly, but I love how civil and supportive this site is, it doesn't go off the rails like THT does at the drop of a hat. We are mostly civil, wrxhoon is a great example of that. I guess I'm just trying to say thank you to all of you that are like that and I'm saying I'll try and defend it as much as I can, I'm new, so no weight yet, but as I get it, I'll try and keep it good. Because THT sucks and this place is full of adults. Go this place.

Hey Lucky, off topic but I hope you and your family are okay. I know the wildfires are in your area.

Lots of smoke and ash but so far, we're good. Thanks for thinking of us. New Zealand would be an upgrade, I'll admit while I love where I live, I do not enjoy the constant fear of getting burned out.

That said, we are pretty prepped, lots of water stored, fire pump set up that is key start so the wife can do it, 150 feet of 1.5" hose hooked up so you can get water on any of the 3 buildings (should probably be 200', we have 800' of hose sitting there). A big mowed pasture to go wait it out in. And my wife and kids have been doing shifts during the night so that there is always someone awake. I need to figure out some sort of heat sensing alarm so we can sleep but get woken up if there is fire close by.

It is what it is.

My wife started packing things yesterday because of the Cazadero/ Stewarts point fire. I told her it was not going to be a problem for us but she's gun shy after we were evacuated 8 days last year.
