The props are Mercury 4-Blade Revolution I had a set of 14 5/8" x 17"pitch that I had rep-pitched to 15". The biggest advantage is that there is no cavitation running in rough water. The top speed is about 2mph less but the cruise speed seems to have more response. Full Xtra Heavy load I get 5400rpm and about 36mph.

i have 4 blade Powertech props. i forget the size and pitch, but i can turn 6000rps and 39mph with my F225's. It feels like i have two 1000hp motors the way they pull me out of the hole.

chub2000 I'am getting ready to try a pair of powerteck props osf 16 -4 16 pitch 4 blade. my boat is a 2003 33 express with f 250s
shure would like to know what size power teck props you have so i have somethng to compare to

thanks in advance Tony

After almost 9 months looking I haven't been able to find a set of used engines. I have orderd a new set of F300's. Sold remaining motor and removed all old rigging. I have installed all of the new fly by wire controls. Now waiting for the engines to arive so my local shop can hang and do start up.
Looks like I will be back in the water in a couple of weeks. Boat is ready to go. To make sure everything would work I would go down to boat weekly and wash and run everything. Will give update when I get back into water.

I repowered a 2002 33' with F300's over a year ago. Amazing perfermance, both hole shot and top end are amazing, and we get about the same mileage as we did with the 225's, but can cruise much faster. Now, the engine has had some growing pains and we have had them into the shop a few times, but when they work, they are awsome, much better than the 350's because of the fuel effeciency and weight savings. No brainer.

Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of questions. What size prop do you use? What mounting hole are they on? Speed? WOT RPM . My motors arived Friday and are sitting in a box next to the boat. Maybe by the end of the week the shop can get to them to install.
