Sounds like water in fuel if both going off at same time. Take a fuel sample from the tank. Bet it’s crap gas u got a tank full of after sitting so long.

Note that the water testing paste will make a big mess if you get some on the deck or the stick and that gets wet. Mae sure you protect the deck from drips Ask me how I know.....
