My OEM FP 4200 died -- at first I thought it was just the starter motor, but my mechanic says that the electrical side is locked up. It was working great at the start of the season. Rather than sink further $ into diagnosing, etc, I've decided to install an inverter system since I only use the genset to make coffee or briefly run the microwave. Anyone want the "dead" unit? It's quite possible that the repair is pretty simple, and it's equally possible that it's sorta toast. It's been regularly serviced every year since I've owned it (6 years). Would have to pick it up this winter or spring in Orleans, MA!
