I'm only saying this incase you don't upgrade, as others have suggested, and your just replacing the batteries.
Turn both battery select switch's to "off" when you leave the dock.... period.
As Hooked up and Nothing else matters said, for normal operation, starboard switch should be set to "1" and port switch should be set to "2". This way all batteries are being charged while under way.
