Make sure your charging system is going to play nice with the newer maintenance free and AGM batteries that are being touted by all the manufacturers. My outboards have an updated ignition/charging system with components by CDI Electronics. Here is a page from the troubleshooting manual that came with the components. It's worth a read to protect your wallet.

forgot to mention, 100 w panel will be nothing more than a maintainer. additionally most controllers are single bank design. there are multibank controllers out there but not sure how well they work. peak amp output on a 12v 100w panel might be 3-4 amps divided between 3 banks, pretty low
Understood. I'm just looking for a little boost and something to help top them off if I put the boat away a little low and maintain them if I'm away for an extended period.
