Hi can anyone advise me on how to remove the live well in order to access the bilge pump and seacock?

The remote arm busted on the seacock and I need to gain access to the bilge pump.

Thanks in advance.

There should be six screws around the top of it that will need to be removed. You will also need to cut the caulk with a razor blade, and disconnect both the drain hose and livewell fill hose, if applicable. Depending on how much play is in your hoses, you may be able to work it loose and lift it up far enough to get to the hose clamps. If not, you will have to go in from the side, under the jumpseats.

Parthery is right. There isn't much to it. I've taken mine out numerous times for various things. I always forget that it is the screws that attach the hinge to the boat, not the bolts that attach the hinge to the lid, that need to be removed to get the lid off. Other than that the only remotely tricky thing is unclamping the inlet hose so I can pull the well out enough to unclamp the outlet/drain hose.

Ya don't want to restrict access to that important area. Just leave that inadequate livewell out, I'll be glad to buy it ...
