Be for you get to carried away, take your garden hose and spray out the bottom of your bilge pumps and see it that gets them working. They stick pretty well, after you get a few inches of water in the bottom, rock the boat back and forth. That picture that pez vela had that tube in the bottom center is one of the drains that connect the forward with the aft.

By the sea by the sea by the beaut.......
I manually lifted the bilge switchs and wiggled them and nothing happened. Since there is water in the front bilge I guess the hose that runs from the front to back is probably clogged up. When they move the boat on the fork truck they tilt the front way up and no water comes out.

We also have the problem of water not draining from the forward bilge area to the aft. What is the best way to clear the drain line?

And another question, what is the best way to clean the bilge area. I didn't know about the drain plug for the gas compartment, so we were hand pumping the water that would get in the middle compartment, and it needs to be cleaned. Any suggestions on a cleaning treatment would be appreciated.

Thank You.

Here's a pic of the pvc line which drains the forward compartment, bypasses the fuel tank compartment and exits in the aft (transom well) bilge compartment. By whatever cleaning method you choose, high pressure water or a snake, you have two access points from which to choose. Also shown is the short little stub of pvc line that drains the two fuel tank compartments.
