blew the port engine while offshore

I have a set of older yamaha 200's and one day I'll need to make some decisions.

How did your block look as far as aluminum pitting and salt water/dissimilar metals look? Did anything need welding?

DId you have issues with bolts brakes off when you took it apart?

Looks like an interesting winter project!

Had a couple of head bolts broke but were easy enough to drill out. The hardest part was getting the bolts free from the mid-section a couple broke and i had to cut into the mid section a little. No real corrosion issues. In the water jackets are anodes so that greatly helps..

That's good news, glad the bolts were not a huge issue for you. Again, great project.....but sorry you had to do it.
