Is this somewhat common? The fuel tank is centered along with the water tank(empty) and the batteries. Bilge is dry and the holding tank is empty. While underway, we apply a little bit of tab to even it out.
Just curious if this is an issue that needs addressing.

first, make sure you are looking at fixed points on the boat. a painted bottom line may not be "level". pull out your manual and look at the layout of all equipment. while the centerline installs may not significantly affect a list, port and starboard equipment that could have a "filled" or "empty" state would. holding tanks, frig, storage, etc. i have a 4" by 12" box of sinkers (not very heavy tho). my 232 would list to whichever side the box was placed. a lighter boat, but you get the point. if your list is insignificant, it's probably due to the above. move things around and see if you can make an impact. also, all compartments should be draining, if you are holding water on a side, that needs to be fixed. good luck, ron

I had a 17' grady that listed port side, turned out to be saturated flotation foam. once I redid the floor and got rid of the saturated foam, it sat flat. my gas tank was also port side in the back.
