Launched out of Bodega bay yesterday in the fog, fished bird rock for a slow pick of a few rock fish. Decided to run down to the point Reyes light house. Picked up 15 rock fish and one ling cod. Ran out to about 300' of water and put the salmon gear in around a big group of feeding birds. Picked up the smallest salmon I've seen 10" came across an incredible whale show. At least 15 whales putting on a show, full breaches it was incredible. Unfortunately there was also a group of seals feeding and some of them followed us and hoping for a free easy meal. We pulled the plug around 3:30, two days in a row out there beat me up.20201008_144100.jpg20201008_120127.jpg20201008_124643.jpg20201008_144058.jpg

At least you're on the water, I've got 2 more weeks before I go.

how did the boat run?
Fabulous I'm so happy with this boat! Although I'm still trying get the oil adjusted correctly with the 2 stroke oil. Since Monday I made 3 fishing trips for a total of 145 miles I used 3 gallons of oil. That's about one gallon every 48 miles. Seems like too much to me?
