You're correct, Delrin is very durable. I wonder if it's as slippery as HDPE or nylon? I wonder if it matters? My only experience with it (that I know of!) is in small pieces inside bimini fittings.That's is a good idea!!!
I will look into that. My understanding that is that Delrin/Acetal Copolymer Plastic is the best material for wear & durability.
I replaced those exact same sliders on my 1999 228 Seafarer with Garelick /Eez-In seat slide system and they are awesome as mine were worn out, very easy to install as they fit perfectlyHere is a pic. of slider.
