Cabin widow curtains for Sailfish...?

I'd like to add some kind of curtains inside of the cabin for privacy - particularly for the bathroom. My son's friend's have asked about this.

They may also cool down the cabin a bit by blocking the direct sunlight since there are four windows and they are not tinted.

What are my options?

I did some searches and see that later models have them built into the windows.

My 1994 has aluminum trim that runs around the windows in the inside.

Hi - have a2004 Sailfish and the curtains are just mounted on an aluminum slide. I was recently thinking of getting some new ones as they are getting worn. When seeing how they come off it appears the hooks that go into the aluminum slider and hold the curtains are actually sewn into the curtain. Does not look like an easy thing to replace or find For your situation Probably need to buy some fabric and have someone make them and apply with snaps or velcro

Okay - I made curtains for my Sailfish last night and installed them this morning. I think they came out pretty good - at least they do the job. From Sailrite.com I ordered 2 yards of white Sunbrella fabric, 25 feet of Velcro, an some basting seam tape (which simplifies the sewing a great deal). (I had picked up an heavy-duty sewing machine previously on Craigslist for $100 that can handle heavy work and used it to replace all the zippers on the Bimini of my last boat.)


I made paper templates at the boat which I transferred to the Sunbrella. I stitched the loop part of the Velcro all the way around the material and stuck the sticky-back hook part to the aluminum frames. Photos follow:
