Companion bench rebuild

[Little RnR]

New to me 2001 300 Marlin that has the companion bench on the port side. Afte rthe sea trial i found the bottom support to be very soft. Upon further inspection the plastic base is destroyed. Now, onto fixing it! more to follow

I think that's a purposeful strategy to justify building a shop!!
