Have twin 225's that I want to have cowlings repainted during the winter. I cover my boat with a full canvas was wondering with no cowl covers on will weather do a number in inside of motors?

Since you have the engines covered with your boat cover, there's no worry about weather. I would spray them down with something like Boaeshield T9, though. Depending on where the boat is, I would be more worried about mice getting at the wires. You could have the powerhead shrink-wrapped and add a vent on either side.

I agree. They only thing that you can expect is sticker fade. I wouldn't cover too tight if you do, ensure airflow especially if you are storing near ocean or in salt air.

Bob have you got a quote yet on the cowling repaint? I’m headed to my local auto body guy tomorrow to see what he can do for me.
