What would be the dead raise for a 1985 249 CC Fisherman

Bob, since it's not listed in the '85 brochure, try looking in newer brochures. Sometimes newer brochures have more info. As long as the other basic specs are the same, then the deadrise would be the same, as well.

I already tried that but can't find the deadrise. In addition, I tried the similar hull approach but it seems that it has changed over the years. I found a few boat reviews about 1985 models and the improvements on the 96 models. I think yhe easiest way to find the angle is to measure it if that is practical.

I assume you are asking about deadrise at the transom. Deadrise typically varies quite a bit from stern to bow. That said, knowing the deadrise at only one point is not too informative. If you are strictly interested in the deadrise at the transom, those numbers would best be determined by actually measuring it. Not too difficult to get an approximate value given a level and a protractor, but I doubt it is larger than 20 degrees.

As alluded to, it would help to know why the angle is needed. For example, if the poster is looking at thru hull transducers, the angle where the ducer will be is what is needed.

Maybe present the question to GW via the cust service web link. Maybe someone at the plant will know.
