Delaminated Bulkhead and Painted Trim Completed

Bulkheads are in. The hardest thing was drilling holes for the screws that are on the bottom of each side since the old bulkheads as templates were useless in that regard.
So I took my time measuring each hole and drilled. Lucky I got the locations right.
Tomorrow trim and doors go on....

Happy with the "clean" look. I also was able to darken the carpet in the helm sides to a royal blue using grey and black pigments watered down and applied with a sponge and roller.
Now she's back in the shop getting the bottom coat removed.
Only thing I need to do is plane down the bifold doors ever so slightly. Maybe the paint made them a hair larger.
Was partially a cosmetic project, but a lot of moving parts with this one!

wow I love the look!, if my bulk head is in good shape but I want the cleaner white look....could i just paint the polywood? anyone have any experience or recommendations for this? not sure what type of paint or primer would look good.
Sure you could paint it. Better if you removed the bulkheads, but you could also tape the sections off. Use a good primer, (shellac based if you are painting over real teak), and suggesting an oil based enamel paint for the top coats. I used a 4" roller on the bulkheads, and sprayed the cabin door.
