Is there an ohm reading change as float level changes, min and max ohm specs needed.
I see tank unit is 2 wire pink and grn. - connector broke trying to disconnect for testing. bypassed connector - no change
lowest bar flashes on gauge, gauge has worked fine until yesterday.
Any and all help appreciated.
Thanks

The pink wire goes to the gauge, the green to ground. The tank should be grounded also. I believe IIRC that at empty, the ohm reading should be about 33 ohms and full around 340 ohms. But don't shoot my dog if that's not exact. Make sure you have a good clean ground connection on both ends of that ground wire. To test the gauge just touch the pink wire to the ground and it should peg the gauge to full. Don't worry about hurting the gauge, it's just an ohm meter in different form.

Thanks for the info.
0 ohms across sender. Pink wire from sender looked corroded trimmed it back 4 inches until wire was clean, ohm checked 280 ohms. Tank 3/4 full.
No need to shoot your dog today. Cheapest repair ever $5.00 connector, a little solder and some heatshrink !!
Thanks again
