Do Bimini Tops shrink-Tournament 225 1999

I have a used 1999 225 Tournament. I bought it two years ago but this is the first time I tried the front, port and starboard eisenglass for winter fishing.
I notice I could not attach all the 'snaps". As matter of fact , I just about two on either port or starboard sides. And the front snaps were very difficult to snap on.
Do bimini tops shrink?
Also the port eisenglass doesn't have snaps on the botom, but the starboard side does??

Bimini doesn't shrink, the plastic glass does. As far as the snaps, you should have them on the bottom on both sides.

The canvas is much easier to put on when it is warm, the cold contracts it, either take in the house overnight or use a hairdryer to warm it up, makes it much easier to snap it down
