Hello
Fairly new to this boat/motor and wonder how long it can sit without having trouble starting and running. Motor is 150 Yamaha 2 stroke saltwater, carburetors. Reason for asking is things get busy at times and then there’s the southern weather, like now, when it wants to pop thunderstorms everyday for a couple weeks straight. Sometimes it can sit in the marina (dry storage building) all that time. Could sit for 3 weeks but I’d go out every other day if I could. Probably no big deal but don’t want issues I could avoid easily. TIA.

Use stabil or similar fuel treatment. 2 strokes are pretty reliable. I’d say 3 weeks isn’t bad at all.

Thank you. I’ll put that on my list. Appreciate your time.
