Duel battery switching

Happy 4 the everyone
I was out this morning and when I stopped switch to my #2 battery when I was going to move I went to start on #2 and battery was weak. My question is can I switch batteries while I'm running

You should never switch to OFF when the motor is running. It is OK to go from Bat 1 to Both to Bat 2 or from Bat 2 to Both to Bat 1. Just don't go past OFF
