I have used Dexter and Hydrastar 1600 PSI both work well .

What he said. 1,600 psi for disc brakes. Wouldn’t recommend drum brakes (1,000 psi).

1000 PSI is for drum brakes , 1200 & 1600 are for disc brakes.
Does anyone use drum brakes on a boat trailer? Unless it is used on fresh water you are wasting your time. If you are to use drums it is much cheaper to use electromagnets, they work very well on heavy trailers and caravans.
