I just purchased my first Grady it’s a 2002 232 Gulfstream. I found what looks like an electric plug like a 110 plug. Can I hook up to shore power? Or can I charge my batteries without removing?

post a picture of what you found. If it looks like a typical duplex outlet like in your house, it may mean you have the capability to connect to shore power but using a different receptacle either under the gunnels somewhere, or on the outside of the helm. Look for a hinged flap on the outside Shore power receptacles have different pin formats than a regular 110v outlet. The connector is circular as are the lugs.
Do you have a generator?
Do you know what an inverter might look like?
Do you know what a battery charger looks like?

A friend of mine said it is a battery type charger. It’s not a generator, I guess they make a shore power cord adapter that I can connect it to. Thanks for the reply.

If it is a shore power receptacle it will look something like this

The extension cord will be this if your slip is equipped for 30A 120v shore power

If you have shore power capability there will be an AC breaker/switch panel somewhere and there may also be a DC power panel. If you have a built-in battery charger, there should be a switch on the AC panel labelled charger.

If you find things that you are not sure what they do, take a picture and post it ( picture worth a thousand words kinda of thing :))
