Electrical Connectors for Washdown Pump

Hello
Does anyone have some advice as to where I can find replacement connectors that are used to connect my "Wash-down ShurFlo Pump”? The connectors that are on board are original from factory (2 PIN) and not sure if they can break apart to be reused and did not want to take a chance and did not want to rig his up with some standard butt plugs splice when I replace the washdown motor. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!

I was just pulling my non-functioning Shurflo washdown pump today and found the same connector. I ordered a new Jabsco 6 GPM pump and intend on cutting off the connector from the Shurflo and connecting it to the Jabsco use shrink butt crimp connectors. Should last at least as long as a washdown pump. You might be able to find the right connector on-line but this should be just as good.

Those connecters they use are called Deutsch connector.
They are reusable, you just need to crimp on new pins or sockets.
You have to pop out the cap or inner wedge to get at the release tabs.
The crimp tool is about 300 hundred bucks but Matco came out with a cheap tool
to crimp on the connecters. You don't want to use a typical crimper that will crush it.
E-bay has some good price kits now or if your by a Caterpillar Tractor dealer they use these connectors on everything.
You do need to check the wire gauge of the old pump. There is a difference between 20 to 16 ga. connector and the 10 to 14 ga. connector.
The 10 to 14 ga. connector is very difficult to get the wedge out and apart. I would definitely get a new connector if they use it for the pump.
I think my Marlin uses that.
I just upgraded my Nav. lights to LED and they used the 20 to 16 connectors on those which I replaced.

One more note if you check E-bay.
There are two different style pins and sockets you see in the pictures. The claw type crimps onto the wire and insulation and uses a crimper the rolls the ends in.
The round barrel type only crimps onto the wire and uses a crimper that has 4 pins to crimp the barrel in place. This type you could probably also solder on too.

Thanks a bunch. You certainly have it all detailed. I have some experience with aircraft type cannon plugs and should be able to replace. They certainly do not make it easy at the local level to get things as close to oem.
