If your tilt/trim switch quits again, don't forget that you have one on the side of the motor.
When it doesn’t work from the helm that’s the first spot I checked. 1 time it didn’t work the engine was able to raise from the side of the motor switch. The second time, that one didn’t do anything either. Thinking it might be the relay or solenoid. Neither worked after a full 8 hour trip offshore drifting for haddock so engines in most of the time and running to different spots. Next day I showed up and it worked so the symptoms seemed to be when it was hot it froze/stuck, when it cooled down it worked which from advice I have gotten from a friend with a bad trim/tilt recently on his boat is in line with relay or solenoid. Will be looking into that next now that the switch panel is fixed
