Just did this on my 2004 228.

Grady number, according to invoice, is 10-210. $22.95 each. Can't help on Manufacturer.

I bought these from boatoutfitters.com a few years ago. Plastic Adjustable Torque Hinge 1.69" x 1.44" [Southco] 058-3847 [E6-10-301-10] Color: Black price was $13.32 each in 2013.

Just looked at the Southco ones, not a direct match for what I had. Not to say they won't work. The 10-210 from Grady are a direct match to my original ones.

Search the web for Southco detent hinge. The model line is C6. You need to select the force and the detent angle. The angle you have can be estimated by swinging the existing door and feeling where the detent currently is. If the springs are shot that may be difficult to feel. You can estimate by where you remember the door snapping into the detent. The force is not super critical unless you have a really heavy door. I seem to remember that the model number is stamped somewhere on the old hinge on a metal part not the plastic. Try looking at where the hinge pin is inserted into the hinge bushing.

Got hinges on Amazon. Company was ESSENTRA Components. They are Southco SC-465. I installed a set on the electronics box. Still have to do the consul box. How do you get behind the consul box to attach the nut?

Went to Southco website. What I have on my 2004 228 are the C6-6 hinges. Exact match.

Get extra screws and nuts. Parts are small and you will lose a few!

I want to replace my electronics box hinges ( one is broken) . I checked DB Roberts, they are listed $16.28 each, still much cheaper than GW. How much d they charge for shipping L.R.?

Yes but the nuts on the backside of those screws are hidden in between the plastic dash trim and the fiberglass. Looks like you need to cut the caulk bead and remove the plastic dash completely to access the nuts. Am I wrong?
