As part of a big cosmetic makeover last year I closed off the front windows on my Islander. Source of leaks and didn't like the look. Kept the side windows. Used old interior frames to create "fake" windows with curtains. Took 20 years off the boat!

Side windows were converted to non-openable windows a few years ago. They leaked too. Acrylic panels. Will need to be replace every few years. Wears better than polycarbonate.

Total agree, boat is better off without them and definitely updates the overall appearance of the boat. Well done!
