Looking for thoughts on a 2009 GW Express that was repowered in 2017 with twin 350s. Anybody have any thoughts on the performance with these engines?

Any feedback would be most appreciated!

Thanks!

I have a 2016 335 Freedom with twin 350s. It’s a heavy boat and while it does fine with twins, there’s a reason they now make it with trips. I can’t imagine an even bigger boat with twin 350s. It would be underpowered IMO. That’s a lot of boat.

I was looking at 36’s when I bought my 33. Everyone I talked to said don’t buy one with twins and I didn’t want a triple engine boat. That’s all I know I’ve never run one.

Newer 370s (360s) come with min triple 300s and most with triple 350s. My 2007 has triple 250s and seems slightly underpowered especially with how I have it set up. Max speed is around 44mph and cruising at 30mph burns about 40gph. I have seen reports from boats with newer 300s and 350s that burn closer to 30 or 35gph at 30mph. twin 425s sound interesting but the fuel, weight and price of triple 300s is actually better that 2 425s.
