So re: Fuel starvation problems with F250. So I’ve pulled out the VST. Replaced the filter inside, the one above as well as the small and large fuel / water separation filters. I’ve sent the injectors off for cleaning. None of the filters were clogged. This weekend I am re-installing the VST. Do I need to add fuel to the VST or will it self prime?

I did the same to my F300 last fall. I simply pumped the bulb until it was hard and my motor started right up. I believe I did turn the key to on for a period to allow the lift pump to work before starting.

pump the primer , dont run the high speed pump dry.

If any of your injectors fail the cleaning, you can get new ones here. I have been buying these replacements new for years for customers. They work great. Haven’t had one fail yet.
