factory 40A breaker

just thought I'd throw this out there - if you've got an older Grady & haven't replaced the factory 40A breaker at the transom you might want to move that to the top of your list.
Mine is a 1990 242g, everything worked fine & the breaker really didn't look bad from the front. Swapped it out this weekend with a Bussmann 185 series, turns out the old one was on it's way out lots of melted epoxy showing & the screws holding the wires were crusty to the point they couldn't be removed. The reset button seemed to be pretty much stuck too, not sure if it would've even tripped?

Good post, this needs to be done periodically...I've replaced mine three times in my 30 year old boat.
