Hello all. I'm trying to find some family friendly sandbars around the Chesapeake Bay where you can chill, grill, play out in the water/beach for the day with the kiddos (less than 10yrs old). I live near Richmond, VA and would be new to the boating in the Chesapeake. I would be trailering wherever a good boat landing. I have a GW 235 and use to fishing and boating in the freshwaters, but not so much in the bay. Does anyone have a list and/or marked map of the family friendly sandbars along the bay? I want to explore several of them. Thanks.
