1st weekend putting the Grady back in this season. Did quite a bit of work. List of the stuff replaced/updated:
Thru hulls (SS now)
Scupper Covers
Drain tubes (epoxied schedule 40 pipe in)
Sealed the aluminum transom bracket with West System Six Epoxy
West Marine Stereo Head Unit (had to mount it where I did, because the previous owner butchered the hole)
Shakespeare 8ft AM/FM antenna to match the VHF
4 new Marine Kenwood Speakers (Drilled two holes in the bow)
Boss Marine 4 channel amp
Braided sleeving for the outboard cables
Compound and Polish/wax with a Porter Cable 7424xp Polisher.
6 SS cupholders lined with white Seadek
White seadek on random places
Removable Marine igloo cooler mounted at the stern
New fuel lines, filter, filler hose, vent hose
Ripped the gas tank out, it was corroded on the bottom, getting a new one made. Just ran a separate line for now to a 5 gallon tank
(goes through it really quick lol)
Sanded and redid the teak with Sikkens
Teak
Removable cooler and extra seat
Front view of cooler:
New Misc Deck Hardware:
New stereo
4 new kenwood speakers, had to drill two new holes in the bow under the seats and two under the helm
Marine 4 channel Amp for the speakers
The 150L of fuel in the old tank had to go somewhere!
After a wash, polish and wax, new SS thru-hull for the bilge
Swim platform came out great, did schedule 40 PVC drain tubes, epoxied the wood first then sealed with 4200 3M
Ready to head up to the cottage
At the dock
The vista top is awesome in the rain
Evening Cruise
