I currently have a 2008 Sportsman 180 ive had it almost 1 year bought it new. It has 54 hrs on her. I want to step up to a little bigger of a CC so i can shootout to the gulfstream and have more people on the boat without feeling cramped.

my question is when is a good time to sell /trade my 180? Should I wait or will it deminsh the price of resale with maybe 100 more hours that i put on it in a year or two?

Im really lookin at the advance over the 222 but I still want to run in the sound so im between the two. Im not sure on the price either of the advance i would guess around 80k new?

The bigger the better.

Take a sea trial on different size boats.

Discuss with your Grady dealer, he may make you an offer you can't refuse. Dealers are in dire deal of customers, trade up customers are most common.

Dave: We went from a 1992 Grady Spirit 175 to a 1995 Adventure 208. After ten years with the 208, I wanted to step up to the 228. Dealer brought along a 258 when we test drove the 228. Side by the side, the 258 had a considerably better ride. It was my wife who was most adamant about getting the 258!

For what its worth, I believe the 257 draws 4" more of water depth than the 222.
